Планирование (Planning)

This course focuses on reasoning algorithms that enable agents to compute an optimal sequence of actions that achieve a given goal. It will focus on plan-space planning, which builds on symbolic representations covered in the knowledge representation and reasoning course. The technology taught in this course represents an alternative to the state-space planning methods covered in the reinforcement learning course, in that it enables a direct means to incorporate domain knowledge into the planning task. Topics covered will include the STRIPS formalism, hierarchical task network planning, situation calculus, planning graph techniques, distributed planning, and applications.
